Sheriff Tinnell is a 25 year Law Enforcement Officer, who retired from Louisville Metro Police Department in 2006 where he last served as Detective. Sheriff Tinnell started his career with the Shepherdsville Police Department where he was Chief Of Police before transferring to the Louisville Police Department serving until his election as Bullitt County Sheriff."
